Refund policy

Last updated: 21st August 2026

Overview

Every Exuma Blue piece is handcrafted to order in London. This policy sets out your rights when you buy from us and how we process cancellations, returns and refunds. Your statutory rights under UK law are not affected by anything in this policy.

Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and equivalent EU cooling-off legislation, you have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving your piece.

To cancel, please email admin@exuma-blue.com with your order details within this 14-day period. You then have a further 14 days to return the piece to us.

Made-to-order pieces

Every Exuma Blue piece from our published collections is made to order but produced to standard specifications. Made-to-order pieces are covered by the 14-day cancellation right described above, subject to the return conditions below.

Bespoke and personalised pieces

Where a piece has been specifically customised or personalised to your individual specifications for example a bespoke design, an altered length, or a change of materials from the published collection that piece is exempt from the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Any customisation of this kind will be confirmed with you in writing before production begins so it is clear which pieces are affected.

Return conditions

Returned pieces must be in the condition in which they were received: unworn, undamaged, and in their original packaging with all tags attached. We reserve the right to reduce the refund if a piece shows signs of wear or handling beyond what is reasonable to establish suitability.

Returning your piece

If you are returning a piece because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the cost of sending it back to us. We recommend using a tracked and insured service. If the piece is faulty or the return is due to an error on our part, we will cover the reasonable cost of return.

Original delivery charges

Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund any standard delivery charge you paid when placing your order. If you chose an enhanced or expedited delivery option at additional cost, we will refund only the equivalent standard delivery charge.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect pieces

Please inspect your order on arrival. If your piece arrives faulty, damaged, please contact us at admin@exuma-blue.com as soon as reasonably possible so we can put things right including repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate, at no cost to you.

Your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (or equivalent legislation in your country of residence) apply in full. These include the short-term right to reject a faulty product within 30 days of delivery, as well as further rights beyond this period. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.

Refunds

We may withhold your refund until we have received the returned piece or you provide satisfactory evidence that you have sent it back to us, whichever occurs first. Any refund due will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from that date. If a returned piece shows signs of wear, damage or handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it, we reserve the right to reduce the refund to reflect any resulting reduction in value, as permitted by law. Refunds are made to the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to post the refund to your account.

Gift orders

The statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations belongs to the customer who placed the order. As a courtesy, we are also happy to accept returns from the gift recipient under our return conditions and within the same return window, provided the recipient contacts us with the original order details. Any refund is issued to the original payment method used by the purchaser.
