Our Story
Handcrafted Island-Inspired Jewellery with Soul
“Every piece I create carries a memory of the islands — bold, raw, and unapologetically beautiful.”
— Deandra, Founder & Designer
Exuma Blue Jewellery Ltd is where island soul meets timeless statement design. Founded by Deandra, a Bahamian-born creative now based in London, each piece tells a story of heritage, resilience, and the beauty found in nature.
Inspired by her childhood in The Bahamas — where days were spent beachcombing for shells, and sun-drenched sea treasures — Deandra has created a brand that honours the textures, colours, and calm of island life. Every design is an ode to those sun-soaked memories.
Bold, Intentional & Made by Hand
Exuma Blue isn’t about trends. It’s about legacy.
Each design is hand-knotted and crafted with care — using natural gemstones, hand-carved conch shells and other natural elements collected or inspired by the islands. These one-of-a-kind pieces are for women who embrace slow fashion, individuality, telling stories through style, and value meaning in every detail.
Born from a Gap in the Market
During her quest to find unique statement jewellery, Deandra found the market saturated with dainty, minimalistic pieces. Tired of dainty, forgettable jewellery that didn’t speak to her heritage or spirit, she began designing her own handcrafted pieces that captured the bold elegance and vibrant colours of her roots. What started as self-expression quickly evolved into a brand that resonates with bold, expressive women around the world.
Exuma Blue Jewellery Ltd has been featured in British Vogue, Tatler, and curated at celebrated events like Stylist Live.
Our business model is one that stands on the pillars of quality, authenticity, and personal connection. We believe in sourcing only the highest quality materials, handcrafting each piece to ensure its durability and unique charm. We support local businesses and value sustainable practices, reflecting our commitment to our customers.
We invite you to explore our collections, discover a piece that resonates with your unique journey, and experience the empowerment that comes from wearing a design that's been created with passion, perseverance, and a whole lot of love.
“Jewellery that carries the calm of the sea and the strength of the woman who wears it.”
